Tension between Obama and Israel heating up

Mike here.....

I found this article on the AOL home page. You can cut and paste into your browser the following link if your interested in reading the entire article.

http://news.aol.com/main/politics/article/obama-feet-up-photo/522634

The main thrust of the article has to do with Obama being photographed with his feet on his desk showing the soles of his shoes....

But here is the quote that really caught my eye.

Israel's Channel One TV reported that Netanyahu was told Tuesday by an "American official" in Jerusalem that, "We are going to change the world. Please, don't interfere." The report said Netanyahu's aides interpreted this as a "threat."

Wow, that is a bold statement. It is clear the Obama regime has very large goals in mind and they are now posturing against anyone who is in the way. I find myself asking, what is Obama going to do if Israel doesn't head his warning?

It sure seems like the intensity of these "talks" are escalating!

Obamas photo you refered to should be a msg. to the entire world! With the soles of his feet showing is as he is well aware of from his middle east background upbringing a rude jesture. one of "F" off world. It should be a sign to the entire globe he cannot and should not be trusted regardless of what he says or does.
Is he the False Prophet? I'm thinking it is very possible!

Thanks to both of you for your comments.

I'm jealous that you were in Israel. That is a trip that has been on my heart for the last 5 years. I would love to hear more about your experience and the general tone of the people living in Israel during your vacation.

My parents are going to be hosting a high school student next year who is a believer that lives in Israel and I can't wait to meet her and kindly grill her with questions about what life is really like in the Middle East.

Anyway if you have time to share about your trip please do, maybe consider sending us an email.

Thanks again for being a part of our blog.

I, too, would like to hear more from the Isreal traveler as to the mood and tensions there-especially with their new P.M.

Mike & Anon,

Blessings,

I would be most blessed to share what the Lord taught/affirmed and facilitated in Israel.

We weren't on a vacation, but did have the awesome opportunity to visit many of the sites that gave us a better understanding of things we only read about.
Just a few thoughts -(copied from personal mail)

We arrived at Pentecost, what an amazing experience!

My first impression was oppression and anger. From the second we landed at Ben Gurion airport we sensed a deep grieving over the land, and God's chosen people, the air thick with tension and excitement of being there!

Our first day,we visited Masada and swam in the dead sea.

We drove past the ancient city of Jericho, we climbed up the mountain of Masada and was overwhelmed by the historical event of the mass suicide.
Being in the ancient ruins is almost surreal!!

We got a chance to see the city of David and walked around the temple mount at 3:00 am when we snuck out the hotel with 2 of our pastor friends :)

Later that day we explored the inner walls ( Kodesh Hakodashim,)of the temple mount where they (believe) the Holy of Holies is situated ,we all felt a little like Indiana Jones,it's almost impossible to explain the feeling of the ancient city and the rich history!!!

The RCC influence is appalling and the grieving in our spirits for the religious deception that hangs over the ancient city, made big men cry,us gurls wept as we witnessed the sad reality of a nation that is hated by the world, they somehow show that in how they react personally with you.

One of the most exciting things we did (at 4 am) was climb over the fence to take some stunning pic's at the Eastern Gate ,we were told that could have had us arrested,we did not mean to be disrespectful, when the Pastor okay- ed it,I took the plundge :)don't take much to challenge this gurl!!

We were amazed at the dedication of these people as the wake up before dawn to worship at the wall ,which was extremely convicting!!

The first site of the wall was overwhelming to us.

We also had the beautiful opportunity to see the garden of Gethsemane ,the olive trees there were amazing ,even though it is all closed in,the view was spectacular.

The place I felt the Holy Spirit move the most was at the tomb, the feeling of being there is almost impossible to vocalize,we could hardly talk ,the tears ,were of a grateful heart for the love that was shown us,communion there was almost surreal, leaving us all in awe of Christ's resurrection! We could not contain our emotions and extreme thankfulness, also seeing Golgotha a few minutes walk away and how it all made sense( geographically )put it into perspective.

The church of the nativity was beautiful but our hearts grieved as we witnessed the strong RCC influence there,we were escorted as Bethlehem is currently under the "Palestinian National Authority"

One more quick FYI,the Lord opened a door for us to meet with Gershon Solomon personally (please do pray for his salvation)and what he said only affirmed again to me what the Lord had been showing us in His word,He stated that judgment is coming to America as we "enforce" the proposed PA state,he expressed that he is coming to America to warn next month..

It affirmed this for me:

Back in March of 2003 the Lord lead me to a few scripture confirmations that at first were difficult for me to comprehend and too why so many "believers" were angry at me for daring to warn about the ramifications of the "Road Map For Peace” now I understood.

The yoke has gotten a little tighter,I am in fear and trembling for the ramifications and consequences of daring to divide His land, come quickly Lord Jesus!

Isaiah - Chapter 47

I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: [so] that thou didst not lay these [things] to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I [am], and none else beside me.

Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, [which] thou shalt not know.

Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from [these things] that shall come upon thee.

Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: [there shall] not [be] a coal to warm at, [nor] fire to sit before it.

Be blessed, you guys are in our prayers!
